6/10/13 – Waiting on the Lord

First things first, the second round of medication barely made a difference on the murmur.  The cardiologist recommended a third round of treatment and that will begin tonight.  The urine culture came back and it was negative which is good. We had a good visit tonight with Nurse C, she was there when Olivia was born but this was her first time taking care of her.  Olivia looks like she is getting bigger and she looks healthier.  She did gain another ounce, so she is up to 1 lb and 9 oz; but she did have a blood transfusion which could be the cause for the gain.  It was another good day for baby Olivia; thank you Lord for continuing to bless our family.  We will continue to pray that the third round of medication is the charm and her murmur will close up.
