7/11/13 - Prayer request

The rollercoaster ride took a dip today, Olivia’s eye test results did not have a good outcome.  She has Retinopathy of Prematurity (R.O.P.), which is basically saying her eyes did not fully develop because of her prematurity.  Both of her eyes are not receiving enough oxygen because the blood vessels did not mature.  The Pediatric Ophthalmologist was very informative and frank with the situation which I liked.  For now we are waiting a week to see if it stays the same, improves or gets worse.  We, of course, want it to improve.  If it gets any worse, she will have to have surgery. Time to wait and pray.
